At Big Fashion Store, we want you to love your new clothes! If something isn’t right, our Cancellation and Refund Policy makes it easy to cancel an order or return items. This policy explains how you can cancel before your order ships, return items after delivery, and get a refund or exchange. Please read this carefully before shopping with us. Order Cancellation
You can cancel your order before it ships. Here’s how it works:
- Before Shipment: If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, you can cancel it easily. Log into your account, go to “Order History,” find the order, and click “Cancel Order.”
- After Shipment: Once your order has shipped, you can’t cancel it. But don’t worry—you can return the items after delivery (see the Returns section below).
- Our Cancellations: We may cancel your order if there’s an issue, like payment failure or if an item (e.g., a dress or jacket) is out of stock. If this happens, we’ll notify you and refund you fully within 5-7 business days.
- COD Orders: For cash-on-delivery orders, you can cancel before shipment the same way. If you refuse delivery without a valid reason, we may charge a handling fee of ₹99 to cover shipping costs.
Returns Eligibility
We want you to be happy with your purchase. You can return most items under these conditions:
- Time Limit: You can return items within 15 days of delivery, as mentioned in our Terms and Conditions.
- Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags, labels, and packaging intact.
- Proof of Purchase: You’ll need your order number (from your confirmation email or account) to process a return.
- Non-Returnable Items: Some items can’t be returned for hygiene or safety reasons:
- Innerwear, swimwear, or socks (unless defective).
- Customized or personalized clothing (e.g., embroidered shirts).
- Items marked as “Final Sale” during promotions.
- Defective or Wrong Items: If you receive a damaged item (e.g., a torn dress) or the wrong item (e.g., a shirt instead of a skirt), we’ll cover the return shipping cost and send a replacement or issue a refund, based on your preference.
How to Return an Item
Returning an item is simple. Follow these steps:
- Log into your Big Fashion Store account.
- Go to “Order History” and find the order you want to return.
- Select the items you’d like to return and choose a reason (e.g., “Didn’t fit” or “Changed my mind”).
- We’ll provide a return shipping label or instructions (depending on your location).
- Pack the items securely with all original tags and packaging, and drop off the package at the designated courier (e.g., Blue Dart for domestic returns).
- Once we receive and inspect the items (usually within 3-5 business days), we’ll process your refund or exchange.

Refund Process
Once your return is approved, here’s how refunds work:
- Refund Timeline: We’ll process your refund within 5-7 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned items.
- Refund Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method (e.g., back to your credit card or UPI). For COD orders, we’ll refund via bank transfer—please provide your account details when requested.
- Shipping Costs: The original shipping fee (e.g., ₹99 for standard shipping) is non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).
- Return Shipping Costs: You may need to pay for return shipping unless the return is due to our mistake. We’ll cover the cost for defective or incorrect items.
- Notification: You’ll get an email confirmation once your refund is processed. If there’s a delay, contact us, and we’ll check on it for you.
Exchanges
Prefer a different size or color? We can help with exchanges:
- You can exchange items within 15 days of delivery, as long as they’re unused and in original condition with tags.
- Follow the same return process above, but select “Exchange” instead of “Refund” when initiating the return.
- Exchanges are subject to availability (e.g., if the new size or color is out of stock, we’ll offer a refund instead).
- We’ll ship the replacement item at no extra shipping cost to you, as long as the exchange is within India. For international orders, you may need to pay additional shipping fees.
International Returns
If you’re outside India and need to return an item:
- You can return items within 15 days, following the same eligibility rules as domestic returns.
- You’ll need to cover the return shipping cost to our warehouse in India, unless the return is due to our error.
- Customs fees or import duties paid during the original shipment are non-refundable.

Cancellations or Refunds During Sales
During sales or promotions, our policies remain the same with a few notes:
- Items marked as “Final Sale” (e.g., during a clearance event) cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective.
- If you used a discount code, your refund will reflect the discounted amount you paid, not the original price.
- Free shipping promotions (e.g., free shipping over ₹999) don’t affect your ability to return or cancel.
