Posted October 14, 2018 09:16:13At the forefront of the fast food revolution is a restaurant called the Autoclave, which is opening its doors to the public this week in New York City.
It is an innovative restaurant with its own machine to grind up the food and deliver it to restaurants, as well as a service that lets customers order and pay in the restaurant.
The Autoclaves unique system, which has been in the works for over two years, was first showcased in 2017.
It involves using a 3D printer, which creates a 3-D printout of the food, which then has to be processed by the Autoloader machine.
The machine can also process meat, seafood, eggs, and dairy products, along with the ingredients that are added to the food.
“Our technology is completely unique, and we wanted to do something different and unique,” said CEO Scott Sperling in a press release.
“It allows us to produce delicious food that’s 100 percent local, in-house, and with our own ingredients, instead of relying on the fast-food industry’s processes.”
“We are so excited to be able to offer customers something that’s both locally sourced and organic, and that’s been proven to be the best way to get a great tasting meal,” said Spering.
The first batch of food is slated to be delivered to the restaurant by Oct. 15.
In addition to offering the first Autoclavans, the restaurant is also adding more locations to serve food to customers and is opening a cafe and restaurant next month.
